Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it really means to slow down and live intentionally. To create space for connection. To breathe on purpose. So when I sat down with Tatum for a heartfelt interview, I knew we were about to dive deep—and she did not disappoint.

Rituals That Root Us


Tatum radiates a calm, intentional energy, and from the moment we started talking, it was clear that her daily rituals are what help her stay balanced in a noisy world. She spoke about how ritual doesn’t have to mean elaborate routines—it can be something as simple as a walk in nature, a grounding yoga flow, or taking five deep breaths before starting the day.


This hit home for me. So often we’re taught to push through, hustle, and ignore the signs our bodies and minds are giving us. But Tatum encourages something different: a gentle awareness of self. A return to presence.


The Healing Power of Nature

Nature is more than a backdrop for Tatum—it’s a teacher. She finds healing in the trees, clarity in the breeze, and grounding in the quiet moments spent outside. Forest bathing, grounding barefoot in the grass, and observing wildlife are just a few of the nature-based wellness practices she incorporates into her day.


Intentional Living in a Fast-Paced World


One of my favorite parts of our conversation was how real and honest Tatum was about finding balance—not in a Pinterest-perfect way, but in a messy, evolving, human way.

She doesn’t claim to have it all figured out. Instead, she shares what’s worked for her:

  • Saying yes to slow mornings

  • Protecting space for creative play

  • Choosing presence over productivity

  • Returning to her body again and again through movement and breath

These are the kinds of practices that not only reduce stress but foster deep creativity, connection, and clarity.
